Instructions for Tricep Dip
To perform a set of tricep dip:
Setup in a dip station suspended in the air with the arms fully
extended, the knees bent and with full body tension.
Eccentric (Lowering) Motion
Slowly bend your elbows to lower your body, under
control, toward your hands. Stop when your elbows are in line with your shoulders. Remember to
breathe normally and maintain full body tension throughout the entire movement
Pause at the bottom position for a 1sec count while maintaining full
Concentric (Pressing) Motion
Press into your hands until the elbows are fully
extended. Remember to breathe normally and maintain full body tension throughout the entire
Repeat steps 1 through 4 until you have completed the desired number
of tricep dip repetitions before resting.
This completes one set of tricep dip.
